Thanks to James Welsh, the I’m from toner has been pretty hyped for the last couple of months.ย He LOVES the rice toner, which made me really excited to finally try it out for myself when I got it in a PR package from Wishtrend. However, I found it to do absolutely nothing for my dry skin and got absorbed into watery nothingness.ย With still a little bit of hope in my heart for a rice toner, entering the chat was Thank you farmer’s rice pure essential toner and boy oh boy!!ย I got lots to say and if you don’t want to read through the whole review, I frinkin’ LOVE this toner baby!

How to use:
After cleansing, pour a proper amount on a cotton pad and wipe along with skin texture or you can apply it directly onto the face and press gently to help with absorption.ย
Product packaging:
This rice toner comes in a hard plastic bottle with a twist-off cap.ย I don’t know about you, but I get really scared when I have a glass bottle in my vanity.ย I have seen some people smash their glass bottles before, so heartbreaking and a pain to have to clean it up!
To dispense the toner, you simply shake it a bit, and small amounts of toner come out just like a ketchup bottle.
Texture/ Finish:
In the bottle, you can already tell this is a thicker toner.ย When you first drip it onto your palms, it looks a bit like watered-down rice pudding, not as thin as water but not as thick as a serum.ย It is right in the middle and when you massage it into your skin, it takes about 30 seconds for it to absorb into the skin.
Once it has absorbed into the skin, you can immediately feel your skin softened and hydrated with a thin layer of moisture.ย I can definitely say over time, my skin has looked a bit brighter but I won’t say it lightened any dark spots or anything.

Effects/ Results:
Compared to a lot of toners I have tried, this is one of the better ones.ย I look for a toner that gives me a good start in the hydration department and this definitely gave it to me.ย My skin is softened immediately and allows the rest of my skincare products to absorb into the skin easier.ย With rice extract as a second ingredient in the list, I’m honestly not surprised how good this toner is.

Overall thoughts:
Finally, a rice toner that actually does something for my dry skin.ย Thicker than normal toners but absorbs just the same, this Thank you farmer rice pure essential toner will be one of my staple products and will live with me throughout the winter months as a starter for my routine.ย If the I’m from rice toner has done anything for yourself, definitely check this one out.ย You won’t regret this purchase :).
