So a while back, I had the luxury to try Polatam’s sheet mask (Water extra force, cream hydro radiance)ย sent to be by BisouBeautyBar. ย At that time, the brand was still in its infant stage, but the product was super popular in Korea for a good reason. ย With that excitement in mind, I was really excited to see Polatam expanding their product line and they came out with this deep moist cream. ย Takegoodcareย were absolute sweethearts and offered to send this to me to try out, of course I had to say yes! ย I’ve tried this for a couple months now, so I can tell you my experiences with it. ย So let’s get going!

Apply enough all over your face and massage into skin until fully absorbed.
Product packaging:
Packaging for Polatam products is always modern but sleek. ย The deep moist cream comes in a simple squeeze tube with a cute black-and-white design. ย The name of the product is all in English on the front, and the back has the usual information in Korean.
Screwing off the lid reveals the nozzle where you squeeze the product out. ย 100 mL for this tube is actually quite a generous size considering moisturizers are usually around 50-70 mL.
Texture/ Finish:
Texture of this cream is more on the thicker side, but nothing like the L’occitane shea butter moisturizer. ย It blends into the skin nicely and absorbs relatively easily but it does take some time for it to sink into the skin since it is thicker. ย This cream is designed for people with dry/ sensitive skin and I can totally agree with that. ย We have cold winters here in Canada and my dry skin usually gets pretty chapped for 9 months out of the year. ย I always have to look for super hydrating products and this one definitely is one of them that I go back to and is on my trusted list. ย The ingredients list contains argan oil, shea butter, oak tree sap, ceramide, all products that work absolutely amazing with dry skin. ย No wonder this cream worked so well by itself through the winter time!

Please keep in mind the before numbers are after I applied Cosrx hyaluronic acid essence, hence the high moisture levels on the before column.

This cream has a pH level of 5 which is closest to human pH. ย English? ย Most likely it won’t irritate the skin.

Overall thoughts:
I absolutely love this cream and is definitely one of the products I will repurchase if I ever finish it or if a friend is looking for a product for their dry skin. ย I’m not surprised I like this product, but I’m just happy I like another product from the brand. ย The texture of this cream works great, it isn’t super heavy and is super hydrating since it contains pretty much all the moisturizing ingredients, all in one cream. ย I wouldn’t suggest people with oily skin to use this since it is heavy on the hydrating ingredients but this would be a great cream for normal, dry and combination skin types. ย Two thumbs up and definitely a holy grail product for me.
