Moving up north, I knew I had to prepare my arsenal with some of my favorite products and some new ones just to be prepared.ย Illiyoon’s ceramide ato concentrate cream was sadly one of those products I had to leave behind because it was just so bulky and I didn’t have enough room in my luggage to bring it up.ย I ended up just ordering another one alongside a different version from the same brand, just to see what the difference was. Illiyoon’s ceramide ato concentrate cream is one of their best sellers, and I can definitely see why that is.ย Let’s get into the review!

You can’t really tell in pictures, but Illiyoon ceramide ato concentrate cream comes in a jumbo-sized tube.ย I’m honestly not a big fan of how chunky the tube is as it takes up a lot of real estate in my vanity.ย I do like that it comes in a squeeze tube, which is more sanitary but why does it have to be so chunky!!
To dispense the product, you simply pop open the lid, and viola.ย Very straight forward~
Texture/ Finish:
The texture is something I loveeeee the most.ย It is a thicker cream but it melts into the skin effortlessly, leaving me with a gorgeous layer of hydration and nourishment.ย I’m personally very surprised this formulation is fully vegan.ย No offense to all the vegan formulas out there, but vegan formulas usually aren’t strong enough for my liking, or just not nourishing enough. This one is completely different!!ย I wouldn’t even have been able to tell because it is so good.
The formula is relatively simple as well, with some fermented ingredients added into it for the added benefit of reduction in breakouts and to protect dry skin as well!ย My skin is left with a gorgeous healthy glow and a barrier against the dry weather I have to face up here.ย This is the perfect cream to use during the spring and summer as well as the wintertime if I seal it up with a facial oil.

Overall thoughts:
This cream easily gets a holy grail stamp for me.ย It is just one of those easy-to-use, no-brainer creams I will always go back to and recommend to friends and family.ย The formula is gentle on the skin, super nourishing and so hydrating with the ceramides built into it.ย Overall, I give this 5/5 stars and will recommend it to you guys if you need a simple cream that will do the job well!

Texture/ Finish:
Packaging-wise, the Illiyoon ultra repair cream is the exact same chunky tube. I think they have since revised the design of the tube to a slimmer one.ย This version has panthenol, madecasossides, and many different oils built into the formula for that “ultra repair”.
To my surprise, I find the ultra repair cream’s texture to be lighter!ย Considering there are much more oils like shea butter, Pinus Koraiensis Seed Oil, sesame seed oil, and apricot kernel oils in it, one would think the texture and hydrating levels to be higher than the counterpart.ย Nope!ย It is lighter and I also feel like it doesn’t give me enough protection against the harsh dry air here! WHAT?ย Yea, I’d just stick to the ceramide ato concentrate cream if you have been eyeing one of these two.
Fragrance?:
There is a strong floral scent, possibly from the Camellia Japonica Seed Oil.ย Smell-o-scale: 7/10 in terms of how strong the scent is and it takes a while for it to fade.
Pro:

-still decently hydrating
Con:
-not nourishing enough for my dry skin
-doesn’t absorb as well as the ceramide ato concentrate cream

Overall thoughts:
I personally don’t find this version to be as appealing as the ceramide ato concentrate cream.ย It also has a really strong fragrance to it that takes a while to fade away.ย This cream would work for you if you have normal to combination skin types and you don’t mind a floral fragrance.ย I just find the ceramide ato concentrate to be far superior and can see it working for more skin types since it is so sensitive skin-friendly.ย Overall I give this cream a decent grade but will not be repurchasing it in the future.
