Yes yes I know it is already November. So why am I doing this post so late? Blame my mail man okay! Apparently my package was already waiting for me in the post office since October 26, but I never got the notice to go pick it up until November 5. Anyways, I’m glad I finally got it and am done editing the pictures and am ready to do this post for you. Although Halloween is already over, these will still be well loved by me. I’ve had great experience with Etude House’s eyeshadow palettes so I was extra excited to get one in the mail from them. They also included two of their newest lipstick addition called “Dear my Enamel Lips-talk” and although I’m not a big lipstick girl, I think I fell in love with these! Let’s talk more about it in the post, so let’s goooo~ (⊙ꇴ⊙)
First item is these cute glow in the dark nail stickers that really glow in the dark! If I didn’t work in the food industry, I would have totally used these on my nails already. Sadly I think I’m going to have to pass these onto a friend or my sister. There are even cute kitties! </3All you do with these is stick it on your nails and file away the excess with the nail file included in the set. The stickers on the right side, you would stick onto your nails after you paint them and before you use your top coat.
Here is the main event! You can buy it on the Etude House Global website, but sadly it is already sold out. I’m too late!! Look at the cute design too with the pumpkin print and their twist in works for the name of the palette. Just adorable and really festive.
I don’t know why, but I thought the palette would be a lot bigger then what it was from the pictures I saw online. This palette measures 9 cm length and 5 cm. Super nice and compact for those who would like to bring this with you to travel or for day to day in your purse. The compact is made of very sturdy plastic, the print is not a sticker but actually printed onto the plastic and the back has a clear label stating the brand, name, Made in Korea and expiration date.
Cacao fondue– Warm cacao brown eyeshadow base
Brown sugar– Warm reddish brown shade with bronze shimmers
Pearl Lantern- Cool light peach shimmery shade
Honey Pumpkin– Warm burnt orange shade (matte finish)
Caramelizing– Cool orangey bronze shimmery shade
A piece of pie– Cool brown bronze satin shade
As you can see yourself, these shadows are highly pigmented. If you were in the market for some Etude House eyeshadows, I would highly suggest their eyeshadow palettes. For some reason, their palettes seem to me a lot more pigmented and less powdery then their singles. I really like that they had a color base already included in the palette but I know some people don’t like any cream products with their palettes since it expires a lot faster then powder products and could get messy. I’m most impressed with the Honey Pumpkin shade since it is fully matte, not powdery and blends out easily on the skin. And look at that shade “Carmelizing”!!! It looks like, feels like and preforms like a Urban Decay eyeshadow but so much more affordable!! You guys have to check out this palette, or any Etude House eyeshadow palettes in the future. Highly highly recommend!
Here is the look I create. I used:
–Cacao fondue as the color base
–Honey Pumpkin as the base color for the crease
–Brown sugar in the inner area of my eyelid and the contour (the “V’ at the end of the eyelid for depth)
–Pearl Lantern in the center of my eye, tear duct, “aegyo sal”
-Etude House Play 101 pencil in #49 Dark brown
–Physician’s formula 2-in-1 eyeliner
-Etude House Lash perm curl fix mascara in #1 black
Another Halloween item they sent us was a “Color play! Art Play! Texture play!” #5, which is a dark black, slivery shade with sliver, gold and green shimmers. Sadly these are also sold out because I’m too late. I’m sorry guys. I won’t be swatching this sadly because I have to go to work the next day and can’t have nail polish on my nails for food safety reason. But with my past experience with Etude House’s polishes, they are really amazing in pigmentation, staying powder. With just one coat, it is so pigmented that I don’t need another coat. They also dry super fast unlike other brands I have used such as Essie and OPI. Love these, and they are so affordable retailing for $3.90 USD.
Another product I’m super excited about are these new addition to the Lips talk line, “Dear My Enamel Lips-talk“. I have only tried one other lipstick from the Dreaming swan collection but didn’t really like the texture on my dry lips. These “enamel version” claims to be long lastings, smooth texture with a moist gloss finish.
Excuse the messy swatch up above. I’m really surprised myself that these were so glossy, so smooth, highly pigmented and very comfortable on the lips. On my lips, these feel more like a lip balm then a lipstick which is what I prefer as a lip color. I don’t really like wearing lipstick and prefer lightweight, not highly pigmented, more natural looking lip colors. These are just that but more pigmented then a balm and makes my lips look JUICYYYY. OH YEA~~ (๑ Ỡ ◡͐ Ỡ๑)ﾉ♡
Usually with light lipstick shades, they don’t really show up on my really red lips unless I mute them out with concealer or foundation. However the shade PK004 ,which is a warm rosy pink shade, shows up on my red lips very nicely without me doing an extra step and looks very natural and not too put together which I really like.
This red shade is to DIE FOR! I have not found the perfect red lipstick that doesn’t make my teeth look yellow or make my lips look dry. I think I have found the one!! Again, not only is this pigmented, it is very glossy, hydrating and make my lips look plump and voluptuous. Oh BABY! you guys have to check these lipsticks out, I’m not kidding when i say everyone needs one of these. They are gorgeous! ꒰⑅ᵕ༚ᵕ꒱˖♡
