How to use:
After cleansing and toning your face, apply 3-4 drops of the serum on your face and massage.ย  Continue on with the rest of your skincare.

Product packaging:
I don’t know why the whole time I was seeing these serums online, I thought they would be in glass bottles but they aren’t!ย  They are fully plastic and I feel a bit deceived.ย  Nonetheless, these still have a gorgeous graphic design, and all of them come in a dropper bottle.

The dropper itself is glass I believe, I just don’t want to knock on it too hard.

Texture/ Finish + effects:
All three of these have different textures and I already know which of the three are my favorites.ย  As you can see here in the picture up above, the glow serum is way thicker than the other two while the calming and repair serums are more watery and lightweight.

The glow serum, which contains 60% propolis extract and 2% niacinamide is the most hydrating and leaves the skin with a noticeable glow.ย  This is of course thanks to propolis which helps with anti-inflammatory and fights against acne due to its anti-bacterial properties.ย  Propolis also contains antioxidants which has brightening side effects.ย  The niacinamide and lotus corniculatus also helps with not only brightening but controlling sebum production.ย  Out of the three, this one is definitely my favourite.ย  If you compare this photo with the other two down below, you can definitely see the noticeable glow that lasts all day for my dry skin.

The calming serum which contains 74.49% green tea leaf water helps with soothing and wrinkles with its main component of green tea, EGCG (catechin) which is made up of tannins and polyphenols.ย  It is known to improve UV ray damage, which Catechin has the ability to suppress the synthesis of melanin pigments caused by UV rays.ย

To be honest, I’m not sure which I like the best, this one or the glow one.ย  I love that this one not only has green tea but Centella, which both help with soothing and calming the skin down.ย  When my boyfriend and I were up North on a mini “vacation”, his skin was acting up and there were so many hive looking irritation bumps on his cheeks.ย  So I used this serum on him and the irritation was completely gone the next day.ย  This serum is not as glowy as the glow serum but still has a good level of moisture.ย  It leaves the skin with no greasy or heavy feeling, just a light hydration.

Last but not least, the repair serum.ย  To be honest, this is my least favorite, the most liquidy of the three, and the least impressive for my dry skin. I thought my skin would enjoy the snail mucin in it.ย  I should have realized the snail mucin amount was only 3% while the ginseng root water was 63.36%.ย

Ginseng is a known anti-wrinkle ingredient in the east, which contains saponins that helps prevent pigmentation and wrinkles caused by UV rays.ย  It also promotes hydration and retains moisture for a long period of time.ย  Snail mucin is built to repair scars, improve skin elasticity and have a crazy hydration retention rate.

My dry skin, which usually isn’t too picky with products other than rose (I’m sooooo allergic to rose), somewhat reacted to this serum.ย  My skin would feel a little prickly and itchy, which definitely isn’t a good sign.ย  It also isn’t hydrating enough for my liking, practically like I didn’t put anything on.ย  Due to my skin’s reaction, I had to stop using it.ย  Maybe the ginseng amount was too much for me?ย  Who knows but it’s a shame since snail and ginseng sounded like an amazing combination.

Fragrance?:
No fragrance was detected with all three serums.

Pro:
-interesting combo of ingredients
-hydrating + lightweight
-calming serum really did calm my skin
-glow serum’s hydration and glow were on point

Con:
-ginseng + mucin somewhat reacted to my skin

Repurchase?:
I would definitely repurchase the calming serum and maybe the glow serum, but I do have dedicated propolis serums that are my go to products.

Overall thoughts:
I was really hoping to fall in love with all three serums, but that is just being too hopeful.ย  Overall I think these were well-produced and thought-out items and my favorite is definitely the calming serum.ย  The glow serum is nice too, but I have a lot of other propolis products that I go to on a daily, so I don’t see the need to have so many in my vanity.ย  All three of these can definitely work with all skin types, but I would pick one of the three depending on your needs and skin type.
