Yes, we are back with more sunscreen reviews.ย I think I’m getting a little bit obsessed. I am kind of guilty for not writing this review sooner, but we are finally here aren’t we ;).ย Barr Cosmetics is one of those up and coming brands, but I’ve had the pleasure to test out some of their other products and loved it!ย Let’s see if this sunscreen will be light and comfortable for the summertime.

How to use:
After doing your usual daytime skincare routine, apply a generous amount of sunscreen on your face and neck.ย Make sure to reapply every 2 hours!
Product packaging:
Following the eco-conscious trend, a lot of brands are testing out paper packaging these days.ย No, this isn’t one of those false advertising paper packaging with hidden plastic on the inside.ย This is truly heavy-duty paper packing which I’m somewhat scared to puncture in my travel bag.ย So far, so good though however it might be a good idea to store this in a baggy or pouch of sorts.ย
The dispensing lid is your average lid, with a pop-off top and a small hole to dispense the product.
Texture/ Finish:
The texture of Barr centella’s soothing essence is exactly what the name sounds like.ย It is a super comfortable, lightweight, chemical-based sunscreen that absorbs into the skin effortlessly and doesn’t leave a white cast behind.ย This is one sunscreen that also doesn’t dry my skin out nor does it pile after reapplication.

And with flash photography, there is no flashback either!ย So you can definitely wear this sunscreen if you needed to go to a party where you will get photographed.
Fragrance?:
There is a slight fragrance of Centella, but it is very light.ย Smell-o-scale: 5/10 in terms of how strong the scent is and it does fade after application.

Overall thoughts:
I’m very impressed with this sunscreen!ย It is everything I want in sunscreen, from being lightweight, hydrating, and has no white cast.ย I do have to mention though, this sunscreen didn’t blow me out of the water as it is similar to a lot of other Korean sunscreens I’ve tried.ย I’m not sure if it is manufactured by the same manufacturers as other brands, but they are all starting to feel the same and look the same.ย I do still love this sunscreen and it is one of those sunscreens I have in rotation. Overall, I’m very pleased with how this sunscreen performs and will definitely recommend it to all skin types!
