Axis-y skincare (some things just don’t work for everyone)

Axis Y skincare reviewSometimes when you’re just a little too optimistic and hoped that everything out there works for you but it doesn’t… and then your little world just comes crashing down.ย  Okay, maybe not that dramatic HAHA.ย  Axis y gave me the opportunity to test out their skincare line and I always make sure companies know my skin type which is butthole dry.ย  When I read the description for their products, it definitely sounded like it geared more towards oily to acne-prone skin, but they insisted that I should just test it out and see.ย  So I did, and here we are.ย  I don’t want to roast anyone but you also have to remember that skincare is very personal.

How to use:
After you have cleansed and toned your skin, use this ampoule after toner or check out my Korean skincare routine post to check which order does ampoule fall under if you are using serums, essence, ampoules and such.ย  It always confuses me what the differences are between all of those products, so this post will give you clarity.axis y ampoule reviewProduct packaging:
Their packaging is quite well thought out.ย  I love the shade of green they used for their line, which translates their green and clean vibe very well.ย  Inside is a glass dropper that you twist off to open.ย  I like that they spent a little bit more money on the label hehe.ย  It’s a nice thick, matte finish sticker that will not rub off or get destroyed if it gets wet.

Texture + Finishย  & Effects + Results:
For an ampoule, this is definitely on the lightweight side.ย  It absorbs into the skin right away with no greasy finish.ย  For my dry skin though, I don’t feel like it is enough hydration.ย  This product claims to deliver nutrition and hydration as well as sooth.ย  I’m not sure if my skin is just that resilient but I didn’t feel like this product did much for me.ย  I used this product for a month and a half and have nothing significant to say.

Fragrance?:
No fragrance detected

Pro:
-lightweight
-absorbs into the skin easily

Con:
-didn’t see much difference with my skin

Repurchase?:
Not for me

Overall thoughts:
At the end of the day, this product just didn’t work with my skin and I can’t fault it for that.ย  I don’t have anything else to say, just simply thank you next.

Axis y cleanser reviewThis product I’m going to cut the review super short since I tried it for a week, thinking it was okay at first.ย  But once I let the water absorb into my skin, my skin definitely felt a bit tight and dry.ย  So those who have normal to oily skin, this cleanser might work for you.ย  For now, I’ll just stick to my holy grail Cosrx low pH good morning gel cleanser or my new favorite, Purito’s snail all in one BB cleanser.
