Who are Amorepacific?
If you guys don’t know by now, Amorepacific is pretty much Korea’s P&G or Nestle. ย They are one of the handful of companies that own a lot of other companies such as Etude house,Innisfree, Sulwhasoo, Hera, Laneige, etc. ย Not only do they own cosmetic brands, they also have body and hair care brands such as Mise En Scene, and Ryo. ย They are the world’s 14th largest cosmetic company and was founded all the way back in 1945.
What about Amorepacific cosmetics?
So today I’m not talking about the mother company but Amorepacific cosmetics themselves. ย They carry high end products which you can find in high end department stores in Korea as well as Sephora in North America as well as Amorepacific US online. ย They are a brand which their products is based around bamboo, red Gingseng and ECGC (polyphenol found in Green tea) as well as other patent ingredients.

How to use:
After you have cleansed and toned your face, proceed to dabbing this eye treatment under the eyes as well as the eye lid. ย If you have any leftover on your fingers, feel free to use
Product packaging:
The jar is a standard North American eye cream size in my opinion. ย I say this because some other cheaper eye creams from road shop brands are almost the same size as a face moisturizer, so I’m kind of spoiled in that sense. ย But I don’t mind since a little goes a long way and I don’t really like to use the same product for an extended period of time since I want to move on and test new products out. ย This eye treatment gel comes in a stylish sliver jar with a frosted plastic accent. ย Screwing off the lid reveals the jar that actually holds the eye cream itself.
I really appreciate it when companies include an air tight lid for the jar inside to prevent moisture lose and also fight away bacteria from getting into the jar, which is always nice. If I’m not mistaken, this eye cream doesn’t come with a mini plastic spatula so if you already have one laying around, now is the time to use it!
Texture/ Finish:
When I first got it and opened up the jar, I was like “darn, a gel type.” ย By now, I think you guys know that I like thick cream since I have super dry skin. ย But I know for the eye area, you shouldn’t use things that are too thick since, well I’m speaking for myself at least, I’d get little whitehead looking bumps if I use anything that is too hydrating underneath the eyes. ย So I thought, hmm I think it’s still worth a try even if it is a gel type.
To my surprise, even though it is a gel type, it’s very hydrating and coats my skin very well. ย It fully absorbs in about an hour but it still has this hydrating feel to it which is really nice. ย The finish of it on the eyes is not greasy, is not sticky, it just feels hydrated. ย Amorepacific as a brand base their products around bamboo sap, a ingredient I absolutely love with my dry skin and products with bamboo sap, almost all skin types can use it since it is light weight but hydrating at the same time. ย Click here if you want to read more into Amorepacific’s ingredients.
They also claim that it “quickly penetrates into the skin to minimize fine lines”, a statement I am a living proof of. ย Like how I stated in my intro, I’ve been struggling with fine lines under my eyes. ย I’ve been questions if it is natural since it’s kind of where my tear duct is and I haven’t found an eye cream that does much for me. ย On the first week of me using this eye cream, I noticed my under eyes are significantly more pump and radiant looking. ย Call me crazy but some things you can’t un-see. ย For the first time ever, my fine lines were gone! ย It’s pretty darn crazy if you ask me.
Rubbed into your skin, it instantly soaks it in and makes your skin feel softer and more hydrated.
Okay here is a picture of before I moisturize my eye area. ย Sorry I know the picture is slightly blurry but my camera doesn’t seem to be able to take a picture and not blur out the other parts. ย If you look closely, even though my picture is kind of blurry, my fine lines underneath my eyes is quite visible. ย They aren’t severely horrible but it is something I would like to fix.

I don’t have too much problems with my eye lids. ย They aren’t oily and they aren’t severely dry, but sometimes it does get a bit dry and my eye make up doesn’t look that great.ย
Okay time to dab! ย I know you’re suppose to use your fourth finger to dab on your eye cream since it is “the weakest finger of the five” but it is slightly too awkward for my liking. ย So I just do it with my third finger but very gently.
Wow a not blurry picture! ย Holy cows it’s a miracle. ย This picture does not do it justice but over time, I do see the effects where my undereyes look plumper. Its magic in jar!
pH level:
This eye cream has a pH level of 5, a pH level closest to human skin and most likely won’t irritate your skin.
Fragrance?:
This cream has a typical Korean skincare floral type of smell, but something about it has a slight rich lady to it. ย The smell isn’t super strong and it does fade after application. ย Smell-o-scale: 6/10 in terms of the strength of the scent.
Pro:
-super hydrating
-non-greasy
-absorbs quickly
-visible results
Con:
-expensive (but I think it is worth it for the results I get)
-small jar (but a little goes a long way)

Unfortunately, yes. ย Say bye bye to my money haha.

Overall thoughts:
I think you guys already hate me from the Sulwhasoo perfecting cushion intenseย for making you spend money. ย Well I’m going to have to apologizeย again because how you’re going to have to debate whether eye cream or BB cushion is more important to you because I found a holy grail eye cream that I don’t think I can live without now. ย They claimed that it would give me an instant and long term hydration and skin defense, which I can say it is definitely true since my eyes do feel and look a lot more hydrated then before. ย I’m not too sure about it reducing puffiness since I don’t have any, also diminishing dark circles I can’t testify since my dark circles are just from lack of sleep. ย Minimizingย fine lines I can DEFINITELY say YES. ย Like hell to the yes, the gods from above have heard my prayers and sent me this product that truly works. ย Wow I sound like a commercialย but seriously guys… you know I don’t put my stamp on just anything. ย So if you guys have some skincare money set aside, I give you the thumbs up on this eye cream and I don’t think you’ll regret it. ย Since it is light weight, I think all skin types can use it but keep in mind, I’m speaking from a dry skin type person so take my last statement with a grain of salt. ย Overall I’m super happy with this eye cream and I’m going to treasure it like it is liquid gold. ย You don’t know how little I use at night because I want this to last hahahaha. ย Now I really want to look into their eye essence which comes in a roller ball pen thing. ย I think it would be amazing with the eye cream!
