Klairs fundamental watery oil drop review I WTH is a watery oil?

Watery oil, what the heck is that?  Because of my dry skin, facial oils are pretty much my friend.  I almost have every facial oil from Deciem and one of my favorite oils is oddly enough from the body shop (serum in oil).  I’ve never really had good luck with Klairs since it seems to be geared towards people with acne-prone skin.  This could totally be wrong thinking on my part, but all the products I’ve tried in the past never worked out and left my skin dry and sad.  When they came out with their watery oil, I was intrigued.  I gave in!!  So here we are, a hopeful review for this watery oil drop.

How to use:
After cleansing and toning, apply 2-3 drops of the Watery oil drop and massage from the face down to the neck.

Product packaging:
I actually love Klair’s ascetics and this simplistic design looks gorgeous.  This watery oil drop comes in a glass bottle with a glass dropper.

Same with the by Wishtrend propolis ampoule, this oil also comes with a stopper to avoid spillage.

Texture/ Finish:
Just like the name states, this oil is kind of watery but is infused with oil.  It doesn’t split and you can feel the “water” (water, glycerin) absorb into your skin first, and then the oil starts absorbing.  After about a minute, your left with a light, somewhat greasy feeling however it isn’t the same type of greasy finish that is glossy and slick.  It absorbs into the skin quite nicely and I’m wondering how this would react to oily skin types and if it is too heavy for you guys or not.

This is definitely a great product for combo skin type since you can tackle your dryness without having your skin feel super heavy.

Oh yea, I love that totally in-focus picture.

You only need about 3 drops for your whole face.  I’ll be using this product during the summertime since it is lightweight but still gives me a bit of oil seal.

Fragrance?:
No fragrance detected.

Pro:
-lightweight
-serum in oil
-absorbs quickly

Con:
-will only work for my dry skin during the summertime

Repurchase?:
Maybe but most likely not

Overall thoughts:
This is definitely one of the most interesting products I’ve tried by far.  There have been products that want to sell you a gimmick like a toner in moisturizer *ugh*.  Luckily, this is a clickbaity product that actually works and isn’t as gimmicky as it sounds.  There is a lightweight serum built into it and after it sunk into the skin, it leaves a natural glow without the grease.  Although I didn’t enjoy this during the wintertime, I can definitely see myself test this out again during the summertime.  If you have normal and combo skin, this could work out better for you so give it a try!
