Wish Formula C200 Bubble peeling pad Review + Demo

Wishformula C200 bubble peeling pad reviewI don’t remember exactly how I stumbled upon the “tester wanted” call, but I came across this company called Wish formula wanting 5 product reviewers to review this product called “C200 bubble peeling pad”.  I was super intrigued since you know me, I absolutely love anything peeling.  I still have yet to find something that is better the my beloved Secret Key lemon D-toc peeling gel.  I’ve seen these bubble peeling pads here and there, however I never got the change to try it.  Somehow I got lucky and was picked to be one of the five people!  So let’s try this together shall we? o(〃^▽^〃)o

How to use:
bubble pad 2
1) Create rich bubbles with the pad by squeezing it,  Proceed to the next step with a clean, damp face.
2) Rub the entire face with the fiber side for around 2 to 3 minutes.  Avoid the eyes and lips.
3) After exfoliation, flip over the band side.  Use the soft side of the pad to pat the vitamin contents into the skin and rinse off.

It isn’t clear if you can reuse this product since on Wishformla’s youtube video since they stated you can use it up to 3 times per sponge, but Glow recipe recommends you to only use it once for hygienic reasons.  I personally only used it once and then rinsed away the liquids inside the sponge and kept it since I really did like the exfoliator side of the sponge.

Wishformula formula c200 bubble peeling padProduct packaging:
When I got this box in the mail, I actually didn’t even know what it was until I saw it was from Wish formula.  I thought I was getting an iPad in the mail or something with this sleek white box, making it look all grand.  I’m not sure if the regular boxes come like this or not, but from the picture it doesn’t look like it comes in this giant white box.

Wishformula bubble peeling pad reviewLuckily there is English on the packaging and a diagram to show me how to use it.

Wishformula bubble peeling padI find it pretty silly that the box is this obnoxious for two little packages.  Hopefully this is just for press sample packaging and not the regular packaging or else that would be ridiculous.

IMG_1973Ripping open a package reveals the pad itself sitting in the peeling liquid.

IMG_1974The pad reminds me of the air puffs that come in the BB cushions, but much much bigger.  The side with the handle is a sponge….

Wishformula peeling pad reviewWhile the other side is a gridded exfoliating textured side.  Surprisingly this side isn’t really abrasive to the skin.

Texture/ Finish:
Texture of the peeling liquid was thin but very effective.  Alongside with the textured sponge, it worked well in getting rid of any dead skins and revealing the skin underneath, making my skin look flawless and naturally glowy without any make up.  During the process of using the sponge, I did feel the peeling liquid slightly sting my skin.  It isn’t the painful sting, more of the sensation like enzymes are eating away my dead skin.  I would definitely use this on the pack of your hand or do some type of patch test on your arm before you bit it to your face.  I usually don’t have any problems with reacting to skincare products, but you never know.  I kind of just dove into this head first which was not smart haha.

Around the 3 minute mark, my skin started to feel slightly uncomfortable but I still had to pat it in for a little bit.  I just grinned my teeth and waited.  I finally couldn’t take it anymore and went to rinse it away with water.  Granted it didn’t burn like the Glam Glow mud mask, so I wasn’t really that bad.

After I rinsed away the peeling liquid, I looked up in the mirror and I couldn’t believe my eyes.  My skin was seriously GLOWING!  I have never seen my skin in this state before, EVER!  It’s like I have that pregnant glow (not that I know what that looks like HAHA since I was never pregnant before).  I think I’m addicted to this.  This give me the same, if not, better results as the Philosophy “Resurface- the microdelivery dual phase peel” which retails for $89!!  Hell no…. I’d just try these out because they are frinkin’ amazing!!

pH level:
This product has a pH level of 3-4 which is on the acidic side since there are tons of acids included in this product, such as Lactic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Hyaluronic Acid and Polyglutamic Acid.  If you have sensitive skin, I’m not sure if this will work for you but if you insist on trying this product out, make sure to do a patch test on your hand or something before you apply it to your face.  The last thing you want to get is an allergic reaction to this product.  I also noticed my skin was slightly tight after I used it.  Not something a good moisturizing step won’t fix, but you can see in the pictures at the end when I can’t smile properly because my face is slightly tight haha.

Fragrance:
This product has a slightly synthetic, chemical lemon scent which reminds me a lot of Lemon pledge or lemon scented household cleaner.  Not the best choice in fragrance, but it doesn’t make me gag so it passes.  Smell-o-scale= 6/10 in terms of how strong the scent is.

Let’s start the demo!IMG_1983Here is my bare skin after cleansing.  I should have used some lip balm… dayum HAHA. So dry!

IMG_1985My skin is in an okay state at the moment.  There are some red spots here and there.  Can’t win it all.  I always have a problem with blackheads for some reason.  Sigh… I’m still on the lookout to find something to fix that.  And yes, I do extract the dirty out of it.

IMG_1996It says to create the bubbles, you have to squeeze it.  Squeeeeeze it is.

IMG_1991Pose for the camera and try and look natural….

IMG_1993Behind this smile is me baring with the slight stinging sensation. I put a 3 minute timer on my phone so I would do this nice and throughly for you guys.

IMG_1998After the 3 minute was up, I flipped the sponge to the soft side and patted in the liquids.

IMG_1999I padded about 7 times before rinsing it away.

IMG_2000Wow there is still so much bubbles!

IMG_2001My skin.. looks… AMAZING! It is like I have the permanent dewy and glowy look I get from some BB cushions.  YASSSSSSS

IMG_2005Excuse the redness, my skin sometimes get a little red when I cleanse.  And no I’m not having a stroke.  My skin felt slightly tight after using this product, making me unable to smile fully.

Effects/ Results:
I think the pictures speak for itself.  With just one time use, my skin is already super soft, looks brighter and GLOWS LIKE A LIGHTBLUB!  HELL YEA.  One thing I do have to note is that my skin did feel a little bit tight afterwards, so make sure to moisturize very well afterwards.  I’d only use this product twice a month since it is quite strong but it is a nice restart for the skin.  And no flakey skin in sight, which makes me a happy camper!

Pro:
-instant results
-skin softened, glowy, fresh
-good peeling liquid + puff combo

Con:
-slightly pricey 7,900 each
-sensitive skin might not be able to handle it

Repurchase?:
YASSS!  I’m already looking into getting the body one for my boyfriend since he loves to pick at his skin, leaving tons of scars all over his body.  I need to keep using this for this flawless glow!

Overall thoughts:
I’m super surprised myself how well this works!  With trying any new products, I’m always skeptical to see if it works or not but this product definitely proved me wrong and blew me out of the waters effortlessly.  You know I love me some peeling products, so this product was right up my alley.  Secret Key lemon d-toc peeling gel has been a long time favourite.  Dare I say this product might have topped Secret Key.  Granted secret key you can use three times a week, well at least for me, but this product I’d only recommend using once or twice a month.  I tried it again today with none of the peeling liquid inside the sponge and went with cleansing my face like usual, just with the extra step of using the exfoliating side of the sponge.  And WOW.  Even with the Clarisonic, my skin doesn’t glow like this!  The exfoliating side did slightly give me that same glow from the other day.  I’d say buy this product, try it but do not throw away the sponge!  Keep it and use it for everyday use, just make sure not to scrub your face.  Overall this product will be a product I want to have in my stash at all times and because of the amazing results, I’ve given it my “seal of awesomeness”!  Definitely check these out the next time you guys are skincare shopping online and also tag me in your before and after pictures on instagram (@christinahello).

Sounds so awesome although the stinging might take some getting used to!

If the stinging gets too bad, of course rinse it off. I don’t want to see your face peel off 🙁
