Primera has been a brand I’ve been trying to familiarize since there isn’t a lot of reviews out there. I got a lip balm from them a while ago from a value box I got from buying from Glossydays (a site where they create boxes and sell for a really heavy discount) and absolutely fell in love with the texture and the hydration it gave my lips. When I saw they had a lip mask, I knew I had to somehow get my hands on it. I actually got this one through Jolse which I had to catch when it finally came back in stock four months later. So let’s get started with the review!
Klavuu has been a hot brand lately, a brand that has been talked about all over the internet. I got the chance to try one of their best sellers courtesy of Keautypicks after they heard that I was having troubles with my dry skin. They suggested me to try this and sent it to me which was super sweet of them. Klavuu’s brand philosphy is “Klavuu lives in the deep, clear ocean waters”. Their main ingredient is domestic pearl and seaweed extract which they showcase in each of their products. The name Klavuu is a combination of Swedish words “Klair” (meaning clean), and Vuu (metaphor for beleif/ perspective), combining the two would mean clear and transparent belief. Klairs mochi BB cushion is a BB cushion that has been on my wishlist for a long time. Luckily, I got the chance to try it out from Wishtrend since they offered to send it to me whoo whoo! Actually they asked me to pick two things, but I didn’t really feel like trying anything else other then this BB cushion, so it kind of all worked out. This is a BB cushion in collaboration with “Merry Between” which is a Korean dating app. I don’t know much about the character or the app since I don’t use it, but it is just so darn cute!! Ahhh.. okay let’s get into the review.
Sulwhasoo has always been a brand I’ve been itching to try since all of you guys out there are always raving about how amazing their cushions and skincare is. Well I’m a cushion fanatic, I think we all know that by now so when I got the chance to with the company themselves, I took up the chance without any second thoughts. First order of business, testing out their cushions. There are three versions to choose from in their cushion line, perfecting cushion, perfecting cushion brightening and perfecting cushion intense. I read up on all three of the cushions and choose their brightening and intense versions since I know the original version might not work for my skin type. I haven’t found a good medium to high coverage cushion just yet that I can recommend to you guys, so I had to pick this out to see if it would be promising for the buck. When the Western brands caught onto the whole BB cushion trend, I was kind of put off by it. Why? Well you only get 15 g of product anyways but now that high end brands are coming out with their own, its kind of a little extreme to pay absorbent amount of money for it. Last year when I went back to Hong Kong for vacation, on the way back I still had some money left so I decided to splurge on the Dior cushion since I knew it was an Asia exclusive and the only other way to get it was through a buying service. Why not just get it then and there and avoid heartbreak if I did end up wanting it in the long run. So… I bought it. I BOUGHT INTO IT GUYS. Mostly because I just wanted to review it and see if it is any good. It was either this one or the one from YSL, but since the YSL one has more of a satin to matte finish, I ended up getting the Dior one which is more hydrating for my dry skin. If you’ve been around the K-beauty block for a while, you’ll know about the Too cool for school contour pact which comes with three shades in one compact. Within the past year or so, they came out with a blusher and highlighter as well. Just this past holiday, they came out with a palette with three of these all in one slim packaging for around 30,000 won if I’m not mistaken but the sizes are a bit smaller. I would have totally picked it up but I already had all three of the full sizes coming my way (courtesy of Jolse) so I opted out on it. Now that I finally have them in my hand, let’s see if they are worth the hype or not shall well. Let’s go go go!
I’ve heard of this foundation for the longest time. Tons of people have been raving about how amazing it is and how it is a dupe for Estée Lauder’s double wear foundation. Retailing for only 18,000 won, I really wanted to try it for myself. I haven’t tried the Estée Lauder one personally but if there is a good and affordable foundation, I am down to try and test it for you guys. So let’s see if this foundation is worth the hype or not. I think at this point, you guys already know I love me some Pony effect products (click here to see all my other reviews). It seems like that girl doesn’t sleep since she comes out with new products as frequently as how many times we blink in a day. This past fall, she came out with these cream sticks that contains cream contours, cream highlighters. They do have cream foundations but those weren’t brought over to the Memebox US site therefore, I don’t have them to review. I have tried Memebox’s I’m meme cream blush and absolutely loved them so I was hoping the ones from Pony effect would be just as good, if not better. These are called “arti-sticks” because you are suppose to be able to use this on your eyes, lips and face but honestly, I have only been using these on my face. Not sure how many of you guys know the website “costal scents”, but if you have been with the whole Youtube beauty guru movement back in the OG days, you’d be familiar with this website. I think it has died down a bit but I still shop there once in a while, mostly when Black Friday rolls around and they have 50% off everything. I wasn’t planning on getting anything since I was just picking up couple of brush sets for my friends, but when I was about to close the browser, a 20% off coupon code popped up. That was 20% off on top of the 50% off sale!!! I needed to get free shipping so I ended up getting a couple of products myself. Again, I know this isn’t K-beauty but I really think you guys would enjoy their hot pots, which are single potted eyeshadows which retail only for $2! Okay, let’s get into the haul~~
When I think of Peri Pera, I think of lip products. I have tried their “Peri’s water cushion” but I wasn’t impressed at all. Last Christmas, they had a couple of awesome value sets which I did end up picking up but I still haven’t tried the product to this day -_-. My room is so saturated with products, I don’t even know where to begin anymore. This year, Peri Pera came out with a lip pencil kit instead of their usual lip tint set which they had last year. I would have picked up the lip tint set but honestly, I’m over the lip tints since I like to change it up too often and stained lips drive me nuts. With my monthly picks from Jolse, I picked this Peri Pera ink lip pencil set to review for you guys so let’s see how these preform!
