Dr. Jart ceramidin body oil review I I finally remembered my body!

Dr. Jart ceramidin body oil reviewBody care has never been on my to-do list, which I’m a bit ashamed to admit. However, this winter with me getting older and the heater drying out my skin, I’m in search of some good body lotion and oils.  I have a few bottles of the ones from the Body shop, however, I find that oil to be on the drier side and not hydrating.  I’ve always liked Dr. Jart’s ceramidin line and with a relatively affordable price for a 250 mL, I thought, why not.  This might be the only few body products I will review on this blog, but it also might open up a new obsession for me.  Who knows…

Dr. Jart ceramidin body oil reviewProduct packaging:
I love the unique packaging of this body oil.  The best part about this bottle is, of course, the pump!!  I’ve never had a pump for body oil and it might not be a big deal to you, but it’s a big deal to me LOL.  There is also a lock which you can activate by twisting the nozzle part.

Dr. jart ceramidin body oil reviewTexture/ Finish:
I’ve tried a lot of oils in my lifetime, mostly facial oils but I mean the ingredients are pretty much the same right?  Through my experience, I personally don’t care for Argan oil as I find that one to not be rich/ nourishing enough for my skin.  I love Marula oil, Jojoba, Shea butter to name a few and this Dr. Jart ceramidin body oil has 5 types of ceramides, 3 hyaluronic acids, and a boatload of extracts.  With that cocktail, this offers a nourishing feel to my skin, stays on my skin without making me feel heavy or sticky but there’s a visible sheen.  This won’t make you feel like an oil slick and I haven’t found my clothes getting ruined but I do apply this after I shower and I wear pajama’s over it, so maybe don’t wear your nice clothes over it just in case?  For my whole body, I use 2-3 full pumps.

Fragrance?:
There is a slight fragrance of green scent but it isn’t a disgusting one.  It is Dr. Jart’s signature ceramidin line fragrance, so if you have experience with their other ceramide products, you’ll know how it smells like.  Smell-o-scale: 4/10 in terms of how strong the scent is and it fades after application.

Pro:
-nourishing
-lightweight
-gives the skin a gorgeous glow
-hydrating

Con:
No complaints!

Overall thoughts:
I’m very impressed with this body oil and for less than $20 on Jolse, it is a great buy!  It is hydrating, nourishing, sinks into the skin effortlessly but still leaves a gorgeous sheen to your skin. I wake up not looking so crusty and it just feels so comfortable on the skin.  Overall I give this an above-average rating but I won’t give it a holy grail one just yet since I haven’t tried enough body oils to give it an accurate rating.
