Covergirl recently came out with these really interesting products that seems to be a dupe of Fresh sugar lip treatments which I do like but rarely repurchase because it is so pricey! I actually didn’t even know what these were nor did I see any promo or blog reviews, I just picked these up on a whimp thinking I would pick a couple of these to review for you guys. These retail for $7.99 compared to Fresh’s which retails for $22.50. Now I was never a Covergirl fan and always thought that their products were kind of cheap and not worth my time. These are actually the first products I have ever purchased from Covergirl, so let’s hope these are decent. Let’s see if these are really dupes to Fresh’s shall we? Lets go~
Couple months ago, Aritaum did a collaboration with Sticky monster which easily caught my eye scrolling down Instagram. There was quite the selection in the collection but the only thing that caught my eye, naturally, was the cushion. This “cushion” is actually a CC and does not contain a sponge inside the compact but a solid cream type of “cushion”. This is a first for me and I’m super excited to review this for you guys so let’s get started! (⊙ꇴ⊙)
I’ve never gotten into MAC’s hype and never really have fallen in love with any of their products. Even before I got into KBeauty, MAC was never a brand I have paid much attention to since it is slightly a turn off that they have four to five collections in a month, it is slightly overkill in my opinion. I have bought myself a travel size of their strobe cream since I have heard AMAZING things about it on the internet. Honestly it isn’t that amazing -_-. However I couldn’t help but think that this product by Secret Key might be a possible affordable dupe! Secret Kiss is a brand from Secret Key, the same brand that makes my holy grail peeling gel. I’m not sure why I can’t find any other make up products under the sub brand Secret kiss, but I will be reviewing this product and explaining if this product could possibly be a dupe. Let’s go~ ＼（゜э゜）／
P.S If you want to see what old Memebox I got this product from, click here to see my old blog’s post on the K-style box.
So not everyone had the luxury to go to the dermatologist on a regular or even have Youtube at the tip of their finger. Back in my days, Youtube was just a platform for random and weird videos. There were those rare videos on how to do your make up but rarely any on skincare. In this post I will be telling you my skincare story, my journey to the present and how Korean cosmetic changed my life. Sounds a bit dramatic but it is true. So let’s get started shall we? ヽ(〃･ω･)ﾉ
Winter time equates to tons of lip balm time for me and to a lot of you guys as well. I’m still on the hunt to find that holy grail product that will moisturize my lips even after it has disappeared from my lips, but still no luck yet. I thought I would do a quick little overview of all the lip balms I have collected over the two years. So let’s cut to the chase and let’s goooo~ (ﾉ´ヮ´)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧
I’ve been reviewing tons of products over the past couple months and thought I would do a rating directory for those who are in the market to buy products but don’t know where to begin. Hopefully this will cut out the bullshit and you can get to the good stuff. Cheers~
Christina Hello’s rating system definition:
🌟-Horrible, I would not consider it even if was a product that could possibly save my life
🌟🌟– Just… why….
🌟🌟🌟– A good, passable product but there are a few flaws. Nothing major and would consider repurchasing.
🌟🌟🌟🌟– This product is fabulous and would repurchase when I run out. (๑♡⌓♡๑)
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟– HOLY GRAIL BABY! I NEED A TRUCK LOAD OF THIS STUFF. Continue reading
It is finally time for the last part of the Pony Effect reviews! I was actually dreading to do this last one because I am not a nail polish person and for the life of me, I could never paint both hands evenly. My left hand always looks perfect, and then there is the right one. Don’t get me started, I don’t even understand how girls (and guys, I don’t judge) are able to paint them so nicely. Is it just me? Anyways this will be a review on Pony Effect’s nail polishes for this holiday season, three gemstone shades and one “shattered glass” shade, all great for that holiday glam look.
Let’s go~ (⊙ᗜ⊙)
Part three of Pony effect WHOO~ I’m super excited to share this review with you since this was one of the items I was eyeing when the Pony Effect line was released. Contouring is one of those products which us pale girls have a hard time with since the lightest shades available on the western market are either too orange or still way too dark. I always have faith in my Korean cosmetics since they are designed for pale, yellow undertone people. Let the reviewing games begin!
Continuing on with the Pony Effect cosmetic line review, I will be reviewing their eyeshadow palette! I’m all intro-ed out, so if you want the longest introduction of my life, click here to check out part one where I reviewed their lipsticks. If you don’t know already, Pony (aka. Park Hye Min) is a superstar in the world of K beauty and even became CL of 2ne1’s make up artist. If you don’t know these people, you must be living under a rock! Consider her the Michelle Phan of the K beauty world and everyone loves her, for good reasons too. This eyeshadow palette was created under her direct creative control with a glamorous holiday in mind. Let the reviewing begin~ ( ＾Θ＾)
