My last day in Korea :(. I miss that hotel already SIGH.
My last day in Korea :(. I miss that hotel already SIGH.
So I joined Patreon today and this is my heads up on why I decided to do so. I had a really funny phone call last night from my buddy Young where he was kind of drunk, slightly yelling through the phone and wondering why I don’t have a Patreon. I was honestly a little bit put off about the idea of asking my readers to give me money. Me personally, growing up, I’ve never asked for money even from my parents. I always believed in working hard myself and never bothering anyone for anything. But it has come to a point where I want to humbly ask my loyal readers, my fam jam… if you guys have the ability/want to support my content, Patreon is now up and running for little old me.
I really want to make this a career and I really want to be able to bring you guys tons of content daily, not just K beauty but also a food blog, Youtube videos on both K-beauty and cooking but I can’t do that and not have financial support unfortunately. No you won’t be funding a yacht or my vacation home in the middle of Europe. You guys would be able to give me the freedom to create endless content, new equipment to better the blog/ Youtube channels. If you can’t support me, don’t worry. You can always just use my affiliate links when purchasing products (links are always in my blog reviews!). Heck, even you just reading my content helps. I appreciate all of you guys and thank you for sticking by me all these years and trusting my opinions.
The only time I put on make up on my vacation :P. I’m quite proud of myself since it was the first time I legit packed “light” in terms of make up and sanitary products. I talk a hell of a lot in
this video, so get some tea and biscuits. Hope you enjoy the video! If you want to see a list of what products I brought with me/ used in the video, click “read more”~
Hehe I talked a little too much in the beginning, but I wanted you guys to survive the cold Korean winters if you guys ever go. It is so damn cold that I actually had to wear three pairs of pants and four layers for my upper body. But my toes were always still frozen… sigh. Anyways, enjoy the vlog and the Sulwhasoo flagship store tour :P. The place is absolutely beautiful.
This product review is long overdue but a product that has been well loved by me. I got this around the time it was released which was couple months back and it still gets attention by this picky monster here. Now I personally love facial oils but I think I’m falling deeper in love with facial oils that is half and half with a serum. Somehow, the combination just works nicely and makes my skin happy. Laneige products are usually not hydrating enough for me living in Canada, but this product is definitely a winner winner, chicken dinner. Let’s get started with the review because… well you guys already know I like this product hehe.
In this episode of the vlogs, its pretty much just me eating HEHE. Me and Jimin went to explore Mangwon market, Zapangi, Hongdae for a little bit of shopping and the trickeye museum to take some cool pictures. I ended the day with just more eating and passed out :P.
Here’s the last part to my vacation haul, the J-beauty products I bought in Japan. Funny thing is that i really didn’t buy that much in terms of Japanese cosmetics since my luggage was taken over by snacks :P. Hope you enjoy the video!
Okay guys, this might come as a shock but I’m trying something different for 2018. I’ve been writing about K-beauty on this platform since 2015 (longer actually but on another platform) but never touched on the biggest part of K-beauty… plastic surgery. Whether or not you agree with plastic surgery, we have to face the facts that Korea is the plastic surgery capital of the world. Many people from all over the world fly into Korea to get their plastic surgery done since it is usually cheaper then their home country and Korea also has the latest state of the art technology. I got the chance to interview a real life plastic surgeon, Dr. Oh Myung-June. When we think of plastic surgery in Korea, there are the three popular types of surgeries:
1. Double eyelid surgery
2. V line (aka. jawline contouring)
In this post, we will be focusing on the ever so famous “V Line” contouring. So let’s get started and I hope we can all be mature about this because it is more of an educational post and not about politics/personal feelings towards plastic surgery.
Also a couple of days ago, I asked everyone on my Instagram if there are any questions/enquires about V line contour surgeries; I’ll definitely be adding those in. If your questions weren’t asked exactly the way it was written, I’m sorry :(. It might be because a part of it was already in another question that was asked previously. Thank you fam for your questions! Let’s get started!
Continuing on with the second part to my K-beauty haul, here is the longest video I have made to date. Please take your pee break and come back with popcorn >_<. I will leave links to the products here, so click “read more” for links :D. It is also in the description box so no worries!
I was actually debating if I should do both a video and a blog post or just the video. I think I will do just the video for now and if you guys want still photos, I can do that as well. Just let me know :). There will be three parts to my haul because the video would just be way too long. I’m super excited for part two because there is tons of Makeon devices for you guys to discover with me as well as Cosrx products!!
Hope you will enjoy this video.
